Our ToursA great way to explore Paris
Every tour is approximately 1 hour long according to your own pace. You do choose your own pace (between 8 and 10 km/h).
Nothing’s scheduled, you do choose the day and time that suits you, between 8 am and 6 pm, and according to availability (that will be confirmed by email or phone as soon as we receive you request – please check Book).
Every tour starts and finishes at specific spots. But we may pick you up at your hotel if you want (and of course if the tour is not far).
This is iconic Paris, with its most magnificent sights which have made it world famous…
After discovering the Palais Royal gardens, admire the Louvre nearby and its famous Pyramid, and then up the Champs Elysées to the Arc de Triomple, and then breeze through the wealthy 16th arrondissement, and the most stunning sight of Paris is in full view from the top of the Trocadéro!
Rive Gauche (Latin Quarter)
The Roman town called Lutecia, the medieval city, the intellectual capital still haunted by the ghosts of Beauvoir, Sartre and Camus…
After going through Ile Saint Louis and Jardin des Plantes, run along the streets and lanes of the old Latin Quarter overshadowed by the Panthéon and the Sorbonne, glide through the Luxembourg garden, make a quick detour to Notre-Dame, and finally have a break outside the Café Flore, opposite the Saint-Germain-des-Prés church!
Along the Seine
One of the most beautiful Paris thoroughfares : the Seine ! From the old Lutecia to the Eiffel Tower, keep up with the barges chugging down the river…
Keep going in the streets of Ile Saint-Louis and come face to face with Notre-Dame on the Ile de la Cité… Conjure up the past: you are on the very spot where it all started, in the heart of Roman Lutecia where a Gallic tribe, the ‘Parisii’, first settled… Then nip through the Saint-Germain district and join the embankments of the Seine where you can admire a breath-taking view of Paris with its historic buildings and gardens as far as the Eiffel Tower!
You are a little familiar with Paris and you are keen to find out another of its facets?
Off we go along the narrow streets of the old Marais district steeped in history, and from Place de la République let’s start climbing Belleville and the cosmopolitan quarter and look out for its hidden treasures. Finally let’s leave the beaten track and stride through the Père Lachaise cemetery in search of Balzac, Oscar Wilde, Proust or even … Jim Morrisson!
